Christopher’s Success Story: Fighting for a F-22 Dream

In April of 2018, I found Alaska Premier Health and Optifast. It has completely changed my life.

I went to the clinic to for the first time on April 9th. Since scales used to be something I avoided, I was surprised to find out that I had let myself get to 292 pounds. I also found out after my initial blood work that I was very close to being diabetic. All of this furthered my desire to take control of my health.

I’ve been on Optifast full meal replacement with no supplements. I’ve lost over 75 pounds and am no longer in danger of becoming diabetic. The Optifast program has changed the way I think about eating. It has taught me to look at calorie content and feeding my body throughout the day rather than fewer larger meals.

Now that I have more energy and self esteem, I’ve been getting outside more this summer including hikes up mountains and fishing local rivers—activities that I haven’t been able to do for some time. I also am happy to say that I am now buying new clothes that are 2-3 sizes smaller and fitting in to older clothes that I was looking forward to wearing again.

On top of the health benefits of this program, I have achieved another goal I set for myself. I have lost enough weight to re-join the military.

I am in the process of re-enlisting in the Air Force Reserve to work on F-22 Raptors here at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. I hope that my success story with Optifast will inspire others and show them that this program will help them become lighter, healthier, and truly become a new you!
